The six questions that decide whether a supplier is worth a quote. Here they are, on the front page, rather than three emails in.
- Minimum order
- Digital from a few hundred. Flexographic starts in the thousands, because a plate or cylinder has to be amortised. Set by process, size and material — the figure for your job is on your quotation.
- Production time
- 10–18 working days after artwork approval, measured on our factory working days and excluding the time artwork sits with you. The firm date is on the order confirmation.
- Printing
- Flexographic, UV, digital and screen — chosen on volume and artwork complexity rather than by default.
- Materials
- Coated paper, BOPP, PET, PVC, kraft and matte silver, with permanent, removable and freezer-grade adhesives. We propose the construction; you approve the proof.
- Payment
- 30% deposit with the balance against the production copy, by T/T. L/C at sight for established importers.
- Delivery
- EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP under Incoterms 2020, with the named place written into the order confirmation. Freight is quoted for your address, never left open.

Why the material matters more than the artwork
A label is not a picture on a backing sheet — it is a bond between a surface and a shelf. Stock, adhesive and finish have to be matched to the product, the environment and how long the label has to stay readable. Get that wrong and the label lifts, bleeds or delaminates in the customer's hand.
- The stock comes first Coated paper, BOPP, PET, PVC or kraft — chosen for the surface and the shelf, not for the mock-up.
- Adhesive that matches the shelf life Removable, permanent, freezer-grade, oil-resistant or tear-proof, specified against your real conditions.

Artwork & Prepress
Send vector artwork or a reference pack. We check dieline, trapping, colour profile and barcode scannability before anything is cut.

Material Selection
We propose the stock and adhesive combination for your surface, environment and shelf life — paper, BOPP, PET, PVC or kraft.

Plate & Cylinder
Plates or anilox cylinders are prepared, with a proof signed off against your brand colour before the run.

Printing
Flexographic, UV, digital or silk-screen, chosen on volume and artwork complexity rather than by default.

Gloss, matte or spot UV, hot foil, embossing and varnish, sequenced so each layer bonds to the one beneath it.

Before you ask
Questions buyers ask first
What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the print process and the label size. Digital printing can start in the hundreds; a flexographic roll is normally quoted from a few thousand labels. We confirm the exact figure against your dieline and run length before you commit.
Can you supply FSC-certified material?
Yes. We hold an FSC Chain of Custody certificate from Intertek SAI Global covering adhesive labels, valid to 30 May 2031, and can supply FSC 100%, FSC Mix or FSC Recycled material with the claim printed on your order documentation.
What artwork format do you need?
Vector files are best — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. Send barcodes as vectors where you can. If you only have a raster file, send it at final size and we will check resolution and trapping before quoting.
How long does production take?
A plate or cylinder plus a production run normally takes 10 to 18 working days after artwork approval, depending on process and quantity. Digital runs and small batches move faster. We will give you a firm date on the order confirmation.
